Kaukomarkkinat Oy and the Finnish company Oilon Oy have concluded a co-operation agreement concerning the growth markets of the East. A mini heat and power plant by Ekogen Oy, a company based in Lappeenranta, was launched in Taipalsaari. The plant is operated with wood and it produces electricity and heat for local networks.
