Fernanda Matsuoka – “After travelling the world as my job, I saw the eminence of the climate crisis with my own eyes”

Fernanda Matsuoka says that she is originally from Brazil. Currently Fernanda is based in the French Riviera.

“My formation is in business, hospitality and tourism. After travelling the world as my job, I saw the eminence of the climate crisis and the environmental collapse with my own eyes. This led me to make a complete change of career and co-found Youth Climate Leaders, YCL.”

Fernanda is a climate literacy and climate education enthusiast, as she is an ambassador for the En-ROADS Climate Interactive and the International Oceans-Climate School (IOCS).

“When I am not advocating for climate action, I am either writing texts in Medium, cooking, hiking in nature or trying to grow her own food on her terrace.”
