Juhani Anhava – “See all details but look from a distance”

Juhani Anhava is graduated with M.Sc. in limnology and M.Sc. in water and environmental technology.

He has been engaged in studies, engineering and project management related to water and air pollution control, waste management, energy technology, occupational health and safety as well as business development for more than 40 years. He has also been three years Plant Manager of the Organic Chemical Plant of BASF in Hamina, Finland.

Juhani has been in charge of management and supervision of wide range of projects related to environmental issues. They include about 15 major environmental impact assessments, about 200 environmental due diligence assessments and management of about 30 major environmental engineering projects. Juhani, what is your tip for more effective problem solving?

In addition, Juhani has extensive experience in strategy development, policy formulation and project reviews for public sector clients, international financing institutions and private companies. He has carried out several projects related to environmental legislation and building, environmental and technical permits as managing consultant is charge.

In this century, Juhani has been increasingly involved in issues related to circular economy, sustainable development, energy technology and mining as well as climate change mitigation and adaptation studies.
