Lindsey Aldaco-Manner – Engaging young people in the governance decisions

Lindsey Aldaco-Manner is President of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW), independent consultant on the thematics of ‘Water and Youth’ and Water-Energy-Food Nexus, and an observing board member of the steering committee for the Global Water Partnership. 

Lindsey’s research focuses on decision-making processes and governance issues related to regional and national water management planning, her most recent research was in Texas and also Lebanon. 

“I advocate for youth participation in shaping national water management plans and to also influence the global water agenda.” 

Lindsey has a fervent passion for youth to be recognized as the voices of change and has a strong vision of engaging young people in the governance decisions about water. 

She was recently nominated as 100 of the young “Leaders of Tomorrow” by the St. Gallen Symposium where she presented on the ‘Value of Water.’
