Joojin Kim – Strong expertise on emissions trading and greenhouse gas regulations

Joojin Kim has experience with emissions trading and greenhouse gas regulations, accumulated while advising clients with their CDM projects and working for the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).

He has over ten years of experience with the international climate change regime, including experience serving as member of the delegation of the Republic of Korea to the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference, held in Copenhagen.

Joojin has served as legal advisor to the Presidential Committee on Green Growth of the Republic of Korea and advised the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on greenhouse gas and renewable energy related matters.

He has also represented clients, including Korea Development Bank, Samsung, Macquarie, and electric utilities, in their energy and climate related projects, financial transactions and litigations, while working at Kim & Chang, Korea’s most prominent law firm.
