Ayeldeen Mohamed – exploring sustainable construction

Our Expert of the Week Ayeldeen Mohamed says that his passion is to find and test new green materials in the construction sector.
“I’m interested in life-cycle assessment of materials, construction stages and machines used in construction sector and foundation engineering.”
Ayeldeen is also interested in site investigation geotechnical reports about structural safety and contamination in both soil and ground water.
He graduated from the faculty of engineering, civil and structural department. Ayeldeen has worked as a demonstrator and master researcher in civil engineering department at Tanta University in Egypt.
“I was a member in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering laboratory in Tanta University from 2006 to 2012. Then I became a PhD researcher at Egypt-Japan University for Science and Technology in the environmental engineering department.”
Today, he is a researcher in civil and environmental engineering department at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan.
