I’m Eetu and I joined Solved in the autumn. What excites me about our mission is the impact we – as a community – can have on building a sustainable world.

We need to make an impact. We need to take concrete actions. That needs the right people. It needs you, the Solved experts. It also needs the right tools.

We offer our platform for working in the digital space and for finding the right experts to get the needed jobs done. We are also working hard to ease the matching of experts to the needs. This will come. Soon.

My first learnings on the new job have been identifying, even more clearly, what is needed in these challenging times. Well, tools for collaboration, the right experts that are willing to tackle – and solve – the challenges as well as bravery to think and act differently.

The last part is the most important one, and probably the slowest one to materialise. Changing work culture and old habits is hard. Where does it start? It starts from taking the first step. So go to our platform, look for an expert, contact her and start working together. That is the first step.

There are good examples of how the change is picking up speed. We have tripled our experts since spring to nearly 15 000. There is also real interest in our platform. It works well. We have been involved in organising hackathons using the platform. Volunteers have been allocated to the health facilities in Slovakia and several sustainability challenges have been tackled on it.

Changing the world for better is work in progress and more needs to be done.
