Brett Guerringue – a deep fascination for sustainability

Our Expert of the Week Brett Guerringue is an International Relations and Environmental Policy graduate of American University in Washington, D.C.
“I possess a deep fascination for sustainability and have a range of experience among various sectors. I assisted in the development of a revised Northern Forest policy in the northeastern United States that balanced sustainable harvest practices with economic stakeholders in his home state of New Hampshire.”
As a US government volunteer, Brett gained professional experience and training in building energy efficiency and science as an energy auditor.
“While working at the American Council on Renewable Energy, ACORE, in Washington, D.C., I worked toward an alignment between private interests and the Department of Defense concerning military energy and technology upgrades that decrease fuel consumption, financial costs and emissions while improving mission capability and resiliency on the battlefield.”
Recently, Brett has dived into project management within the manufacturing, management training and banking industries.
