Aditya Allamraju – Expert in geoscience and remote sensing

Aditya Allamraju has graduated with her Bachelor of Technology in Geo-Informatics from the Department of Geo-Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 2019.

She then completed her Post Graduate Diploma in 2020 from the Centre for Space Science & Technology Education in Asia & the Pacific hosted by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun.

Aditya is a proud recipient of the Institute of Investigation in Remote Sensing & GIS (IIRSG) – “Young Scientist Award” 2020.

Currently, Aditya is IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Social Media Ambassador. She is also part of the GGA Youth Global Change Leader-Cohort 1 at Global Goodwill Ambassador, Volunteer at Geospatial Awareness Hub in Content Writing and Social Influencing, Digital Marketing.

Aditya says that she is associated with IEEE & Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society since 2017 and has involved in several volunteering activities like Social Media Ambassador of IEEE CIS/GRSS Joint Chapter, Hyderabad Section. She is a Passionate IEEE GRSS Ambassador and Volunteer since 2017.

Her passion for research in the Geospatial Technology domain led her to work on about 15 research publications during her Undergraduate study and her recent research work titled ‘Assessment of Crop Rotation using Multi-Polarized Sentinel-1 Temporal SAR data over parts of Kumaun Region of Uttarakhand’ was published as a chapter in the Springer book “Advances in Computational Intelligence and Informatics” in 2020.
