Angus Emery – Matching IoT and smart city requirements with solutions and services

Angus Emery is a European English expat who has over 30 years’ experience working within the Telecoms arena. 

“My current role is International Smart Cities Sales and Enablement which basically entails me raising the awareness, promoting and training our global sales and marketing teams on our smart city strategy and portfolio.”

Additionally, he acts as a moderator and facilitator for both internal and external events and support his global colleagues at exhibitions and with client meetings and workshops. 

“I also get a real buzz being involved with startups and love the way they work hard, play hard, innovate and disrupt. When not promoting magenta solutions and services that solve client challenges, I enjoy l travelling, cooking international specialties, playing football for my local Irish pub team, run and follow the ups and downs of Liverpool FC and my adopted German team 1.FC Köln.”
