Carolina Faria – “A planet centric designer, shifting the focus of design to include sustainability as a core characteristic of what we put into the world”

Carolina Faria is originally a communication designer, she changed focus and started coaching innovation-driven programmes in higher education. These experimented with different settings of project-based learning to build self-efficacy and to learn to navigate ambiguity.

The main goal is to use design methodologies to develop complex impactful projects and enable collaboration between different fields of work, ways of doing and cultures.

“I am now working as a planet centric designer, shifting the focus of design to include sustainability as a core characteristic of what we put into the world. At the same time, we help organizations accelerate the sustainability transition with a new methodology and way of working.”

She is also interested in collaborating in planet centric user research, service design, UX design and project development.
