Eemil Rauma is one of the leading electric vehicle experts in Finland backed up with a strong and practical knowledge of mobility-as-a-service and automated driving.

Eemil Rauma

Eemil wants to be part of the change that enables our children and grandchildren to have the same possibilities that we and parents had and have.

“I am motivated by the passion to offer consumers, companies and organizations with sustainable mobility options instead of the current ones leading towards catastrophic climate change. I believe that companies need to offer these solutions instead of relying to governments. As former Finnish MP Antero Vartia stated, politics takes too long to save the world.”

Eemil says that you should have the gut to challenge ‘business as usual’ thinking even though it might earn you some ‘enemies’. Naturally challenging current practices require solid facts and stories that bring the facts alive, he continues.

“Without stories facts are just facts. Blended to stories they change how people think and act. So, you need to know a lot about mobility and from many perspectives. Only through combining various facts from various perspectives together with various people can one solve the big problems laying ahead of us.”

Eemil has been working full time with smart, connected, autonomous and electric traffic since 2013 and possess a deep insight about the whole ecosystem of electric vehicles along with MaaS expertise.

“My 5+ years’ experience is based on working with and to industry disruptors such as Virta, MaaS Global, Veho and proactive officials wanting to improve our mobility solutions and enhance the competitive edge of industries.”

Eemil says that Korkia is a pioneer in market disruption.

“We help turn uncertainties into profitable growth. We create the means to benefit from change and achieve results. Our special expertise lies within three sectors of mobility, circular economy and energy.

Korkia provides services around: a) building new economic activity, b) developing growth strategies, c) co-creating efficiency and implementation, and d) orchestrating and coordinating business networks and ecosystems.

“In order to solve the challenge of mobility emissions we need to combine services and new technologies. We need to replace five combustion engine vehicles (petrol or diesel) with one electric or biogas vehicle. This is only possible through servitization enabling more efficient usage of vehicles.”
