Niina Jortikka – Helping urban culture flourish in our cities

Niina Jortikka’s education is horticulture and environmental issues from Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Niina says that events, communality and urban culture have been her professional passion since year 2002.

“I have large social network among environmental organizations. I have also worked in co-operation with many art and culture organizations in Oulu area.”

At the moment she works as coordinator for PROTO – Pohjois-Suomen muotoilijat ry.

“I coordinate Design Market of Oulu and Oulu Design Days. I also work as environmental coach for Union for Rural Culture and Education. I am always ready to show you different faces of my hometown Oulu.”
