Anne Jalkala is Head of the LUT School of Business and Management and professor of business marketing at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) in Finland. Her research focuses on interorganizational processes in the development and deployment of cleaner technologies. Previously she has worked as a visiting scholar at the Scandinavian Consortium for Organizational Research (SCANCOR) at Stanford University. Her research group works in collaboration with leading cleantech firms to build knowledge about how to accelerate the market adoption of new products and services. Prof. Jalkala is the principal investigator of the following research projects funded by the Finnish Agency for Technology and Innovation: - Cleantech Solutions – Co-creating Environmental Solutions with Lead Customers (2011-2013) - DemaNET – Advancing Dematerialization through New Modes of Industrial Networking (2012-2014) - RIVIS – Realizing (In)tangible Value from Integrated Solutions (2014-2016) Her work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Industrial Marketing Management, Management Decision, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, European Planning Studies, and the European Management Journal.
