Ofer Becker – Promoting natural sunlight re-introduction to existing buildings

Always fascinated by the shaping and channeling of light, Ofer Becker found the paradox of the non-existent utilization of free, natural, and healthy sunlight for widespread daytime indoor lighting a great challenge.
Founding Solight in 2012 with younger brother CEO Dror Becker, to address this absence, Ofer developed a highly efficient static collector, which supplies large amounts of natural sunlight for healthy, energy-efficient indoor lighting in a large variety of applications.

With the help and support of Israel’s Innovation Authority and the EU’s prestigious Horizon 2020 SME program, SOLIS lighting systems are now being installed at selected client locations.
